As an Enviropreneur, I am passionate about promoting technologies & policies that are friendly to the environment while encouraging organizations to fly on the wings of the ever growing green consciousness & cleantech innovation. I was in Wales recently on the invitation of the Welsh Assembly Government & UNIDO for an on-going "African Renewable Energy, Enviromental Responsibility & Sustainability" initiative for a select group of 15 African Enviropreneurs carefully chosen from 6 African countries and facilitated by Bangor University, Wales, UK. I am also one of the few Pioneers of the Lighting Africa Initiative that is being managed by the World Bank/IFC. I also engage the African Corporate decision makers on subjects bordering on Sustainability, Environmental Responsibility, Climate Change & Culture, Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency & Sustainable Development.
I am currently seeking support, partnership and sponsorship to create an International Platform known as the Greening Corporate Africa Initiative- a target specific capacity building project for the purpose of enhancing the capacity of the decision makers & corporate CEOs of African companies & businesses to begin to look at ways they can contribute towards mitigating climate change by reducing their green house gases emissions; knowing that adapting their businesses to the exigencies occasioned by climate change would also trigger the unintended consequence of protecting their investments from the adverse effects of climate change while also showing a high sense of environmental responsibility & sustainability [People Prospering Planet].
