About

About Entrepreneur Community Online: We are composed of entrepreneurs scattered across the globe. Whether an entrepreneur is an American PhD in biochemistry, a renewable energy guru from Israel, owns a coffee shop in Belgium, is creating a video game in Brazil, makes industrial paper out of elephant dung in Sri Lanka or composes music in Kampala, Uganda – their challenges as entrepreneurs are very much the same.

It is our intention as a community to assist each of our entrepreneurs in overcoming their challenges so that they can succeed.

We are looking for those entrepreneurs that feel that they are under-served in some way.

We want to work with individuals that are in transition, or who are just starting down the entrepreneurial path.

We want to assist those entrepreneurs that have existing businesses and are stuck and want to move forward.

We do this by helping each of our entrepreneurs:

1. Learn how to make valuable Connections

2. Get the Mentoring that they need to move forward

3. Have access to valuable Resources

At the end of the day, we at ECO want to make a difference - just like most of you! This means that we will work with entrepreneurs who come to us, helping each one of them create their own communities of like minded people - one Main Street at a time!

Personal Note From Linda Hughes:

Let me explain how I visualized this whole concept of creating communities of entrepreneurs one Main Street at a time. On a whim, I decided to visit as many local cities as I could fit into an afternoon, for the purpose of taking pictures of each Main Street.

As I did, I realized just how fundamentally close and personal this whole subject is - this is real guys!

Entrepreneurship is not an abstract idea, it is real, gut level real and very personal. It doesn't matter if your Main Street is composed of high rises in a major metropolitan area, a Silicon Valley district or a quaint little village in the mountains. In each of those buildings on that Main Street are groups of entrepreneurs striving to make their worlds better, to make a difference. These entrepreneurs may hire 10's, 100's, maybe 1000's of their neighbors in the process. And all of us combined will contribute to economies that empower us!

This is what I want to be a part of - making a difference by empowering the ones that are going to make that difference in the world - entrepreneurs.
